The essays are perhaps the most important of all the components of your application. Well written essays which clearly convey a message about how you are, and could mean the difference between a top school and a mid-tier school.
We work only with candidates who are serious about their career, and are willing to match our hard-work and effort into the application.
How the 8-step process will work.
1.Provide us a filled out questionnaire about your profile, school essays, and the latest copy of your CV. If you have already applied to this school (i.e. re-applicant) then please send us your previous year essays as well.
2.Once we evaluate it, we would schedule a telephonic discussion for around 1 hour to go through your profile as well as discuss each of the application essays. This should typically happen within 2-3 days of your sending us the profile information. During this session we will try to see how to project your profile in the best possible way, and what message you want to convey through your essays, your recommendation letters, and your CV.
3.Based on the discussion, you come back with your responses to each of the essay questions within 30% of the allotted word-limit. These essays should be in-line with our earlier conversation, and not a half-baked effort. This has to be absolutely the best effort you can put in at this point.
4.We will provide a high-level analysis of the overall message you are conveying. This can be at times very brutal. But then we believe that is why you are taking on our services. The feedback will first be provided as track changes. This will be followed by a telephonic conversation that will last around 1 hour. Allow 2-3 business days for us to revert.
5.Based on this feedback you will rework and provide us the 2nd draft of the essays. Again these essays have to be absolutely your best possible effort.
6.We will provide the feedback which will now get more detailed and focus on the overall structure. This time we will look at it from a sentence/paragraph level and try to see if what you are trying to convey is getting through. This will again be first as a track changes in the word document, followed by a 1-hour telephonic conversation.
7.Based on this feedback you will rework and provide us the 3rd draft of the essays. The same rules of the game apply – absolutely your best possible effort.
8.Once we receive it within 2-3 business days we will provide the final version of the essays making sure that we make it water-tight by making your narrative stronger, choosing the right words to convey the thought better, and ensuring we do the word-smithing to ensure you are within the acceptable word-limit of the essay.
What we expect from you:
• Ensure that you are putting your 100% into the essays including taking the feedback seriously, putting your best effort in each round, and respecting the telephonic time for review.
• Your CV in the current stage, your MAP report (if you have one it will help us immensely), your previous applications if any, and the filled out brainstorming sheet.
• Full payment before the start of the service as well as an acceptance to our application plan time-lines, as well as the statement of work before the engagement commences.
What you can expect from us:
• Hand-holding you throughout the application process as we understand you are doing it for perhaps the first time. We are the professionals, and you are paying us for peace of mind. This includes unlimited queries through email. We will also throw in a free CV consultation.
• Absolute professionalism and strict privacy in handling all your essays, as we understand these are very personal. You can trust that all the content will be your copy-right – we will not use any of it – not even a sentence in any other work.
• Turn-around time of 2-3 business days for each review cycle. Business days are Monday through Friday. We need that much time to do justice to do the analysis.
What you cannot expect from us:
• Writing the essays for you (a.k.a ghost-writing) is an absolute no-no. We believe that your personal flavor should come through in the stories. We will ensure that it is absolutely bullet-proof in terms of content, and presentation but that’s how far we will go.
• Doing more than 1hour of conversation during the touch-points, or doing more than the promised 3 rounds of review. We would love to help you more but we would be unfair to our other customers who require as much time and devotion as you do. And we have a pretty tight schedule. If you feel you need more time, or rounds of revision do let us know – we can do it at a reasonable rate which will justify our extra time spent.
Fees :
- Rs.20,000 for schools with essays upto 1000 words, and Rs.5,000 for each additional 500 words.
- For 2 schools: 10% off on total value
- For 3 schools: 20% off on total value
- For 3+ schools: 30% off on total value
