Mock Interview
One way to ace a b-school interview is to understand that the key to successful admission is a fit. So what really is interview preparation all about? There is little one can do to change oneself in a few weeks. The B-school interview is a crucial step in the application process that helps the admissions committee capture finer aspects of your profile that essays may have failed to convey. Of all the parameters that are evaluated, awareness of one’s strengths and weaknesses, clarity of short-term and post MBA goals and a fit to a b-school community and culture significantly weigh in on the admit decisions. These are best conveyed by applicants who articulate effectively. Integrating your thoughts into verbal and non-verbal communication provides a clear sense of the person behind the resume. Remember that a good interview may not exclusively ensure an admit . A bad interview will most certainly end in a ding!
