What our students have to say:
Raviraj Jain- 750 GMAT, Harvard Business School – class of 2013
I was looking for a verbal only class, which was comprehensive, short duration and focused on improving the concepts. Crackverbal fit the bill and was very helpful in improving my verbal score. I was able to look at the test from a fresh perspective allowing me to score a 750. I was impressed by the faculty quality as only experienced instructors such as Arun can guide you on the various nuances of the test.
Neha Srivastava- 720 GMAT, INSEAD Singapore campus – class of 2013
An MBA aspirant , with a full time job and just about a month’s time to prepare- that’s exactly where I was when a friend recommended Crackverbal to me. Crackverbal , by far, is one of the best investments I ever made. The teachers really understand the exam, and have a talent for helping you improve your score. There were absolutely no surprises when I took the real GMAT. Although I was located out of Singapore, I never felt that location was any limitation. The teachers did web sessions at least once a week and were always available 24/7 to answer any of my questions. The sessions were simply brilliant. After just two classroom contact programmes, I would easily eliminate 3 choices and then use the necessary tactics, that were so ‘logical in their approach’ to choose from remaining two. Not only that , they directed me to the ‘right’ study material which immensely helped me put the limited time I had to the best use. Thanks very much Crackverbal – touching the ’700′ mark would have been impossible in such a short time span without your guidance and support.
Namratha Shetty 690 GMAT, SAID Business School,Oxford
3 GMAT attempts sans a mentor and the subsequent unsuccessful results took their toll on me. Not wanting to give up on my MBA dream, I decided to reach out for help for the 4th attempt. Post a volley of questions thrown by me and a very reassuring call with the founder, Arun J – I joined CrackVerbal in June 2010. It is with certainty I say that CrackVerbal not only set right my shaky GMAT Verbal foundation but also gave me the confidence that I could nail the GMAT this time around. The CrackVerbal team gaurantees its students customized, personalized attention, which I have not experienced at any other GMAT training institute in Bangalore, and I say this from the experience of having tried out more than one coaching institute. I, today – thanks to the CrackVerbal team have been able to apply to schools of my choice without having to compromise on quality of education- and I now look forward to becoming part of the class of 2012-2013 – Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Sriram Rajagopalan 730 GMAT,IIFT Delhi
CV was instrumental in me hitting a score of 730. The unconventionally informal classroom setup enabled me to get my doubts clarified in a better manner. The faculty members were highly professional and did a great job in explaining concepts and in discussing methods to approach questions..The classroom discussions were very stimulating..The study material was excellent.. Mentors such as Arun were just a phone call away.. I could always call them up and discuss my strategies with them.. This helped me to remain focused in the time leading to the exam. Thanks to CrackVerbal,I saw a considerable improvement in my Verbal ability and I ended up with a decent score in the GMAT. All in all, it is a one stop solution to anyone looking to improve their verbal skills.
Abhi Maheshwari 730 GMAT
I just want to say thank you to you for the fantastic support throughout my GMAT journey and thank you to Arun Sir, for the superb approach to GMAT Verbal he taught.Getting a 730 has really opened many doors for me when it comes to my postgraduate education.
Vignesh S K 720 GMAT,MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK (Admitted with 50% scholarship)
I attended CrackVerbal’s BootCamp and got completely recharged. The content and advice were really good, but more importantly, it put me on track. I had a clear framework for preparation and felt confident. More help came after attending the camp – the regular emails, phone and chat conversations kept me on track and helped me to re-focus whenever I felt lost. Nobody from CrackVerbal ever denied or delayed a request for help. In all, I would say that it was a great experience, and I am now going for the essay services too. For someone whose weak area is the Verbal section but is willing to put in some effort to improve it, CrackVerbal is the answer. What CrackVerbal offers is entirely different from other conventional coaching institutes and easily consumable, to put it in my words.
Anurag Verma 740 GMAT,MBA Class of 2012 Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad
As I am an Engineer I was very confident of my quant performance – infact I don’t remember practising too much on quant. It was verbal which gave me the jitters. I had known Arun through Pagalguy and knew he was the go-to man for this. I had a very nice time where the focus was much more than just the basics (eye-wash which most other test prep companies give you). I was given really tough Verbal problems to solve which gave me the confidence to dream (and eventually achieve) of crossing the 40 barrier in Verbal.
Ruchi Singh 710 GMAT,Applying for the 2012 intake
For me, Crackverbal was extremely helpful mainly because the faculty is experienced and very knowledgeable. They are focused and have a customized approach towards each student. You can ask questions and move at a pace that works best for your skill level. I was also impressed by the comprehensive training material and practice tests that Crackverbal has developed. Crackverbal’s faculty is patient in understanding their students’ abilities – they focus on helping you improve your weakness, but most importantly, challenge you with tough questions to help you raise your bar and perform better.
Prashanth 710 GMAT,Applying for the 2012 intake
I enrolled in the Verbal workshop at CrackVerbal. I cannot stress how useful the sessions turned out to be. I not only gained confidence and learnt how to approach the verbal section, but also learnt a lot about the MBA application process itself. I’m really lucky to have met Arun, who is very motivating and always available to help me out. His vast experience cannot go unnoticed. I sincerely recommend CrackVerbal to anyone who is serious about their career.
Shilpa Seshadri 700 GMAT,Q 48 , V 38
My first attempt GMAT was completely based on self-preparation and I scored a 620 in it, split being 48 Q / 26 V. I took a break for few months and started planning for a second attempt, but was not able to figure out any strategy to improve my verbal score. This was the time when I knew about Crack Verbal through an online forum. In a brief duration on one month, Crack verbal provided not just all the needed inputs on the verbal section of GMAT, but it also guided us in drafting a study plan, choosing study materials, analyzing our strong and weak areas etc. The advanced question sets provided and flexibility to come to the center to take full length mock tests really helped a lot. Also, the material provided for AWA section also helped me in improving my awa score from a 4.5 to 5.5. Thanks to all the staff and faculty of Crack Verbal for being so supportive.
Harsh Fadnavis 740 GMAT,Q 50 , V 40 , ISB Class of 2013
I am a person who can and will not study unless under someone’s supervision. I need deadlines and assignments to keep myself motivated. This is one aspect where Crackverbal helped me. The assignments were good. The questions were genuine and authentic. Biggest boost was Arun himself. I have met multiple GMAT coaches (trust me I have interacted extensively with tutors) and I found Arun to be the most dynamic person. His classes are never boring and his presentation is commendable. The 700-800 level questions that he gave us were one of the most important documents I received. I would recommend Crackverbal to anyone who wants to score well on the GMAT.
Ganesh Venkatraman 690 GMAT,Applying for the 2012 intake
I only took Verbal coaching with Crackverbal as I was reasonably good with my Quant (My score may not be a good judgement of my ability
). Right from the first class, Arun was very structural in his approach. The good part of the coaching was it was less coaching and more of mentoring for Arun never spoonfed. He used to encourage discussions and seek thought process from all the participants. This gave me an idea of how people end up thinking on a single question while on GMAT. And then Arun used to come up with his recommendations and suggestions which eventually helped many of us streamline our thinking process. I have had friends in the past who have attended other coaching centers but I have not seen a coaching center achieve so many 700+ scores (i am refering to % of people scoring 700+). Thanks to Arun and his guidance.
Neeraj Kakkar 770 GMAT, Wharton School of Busines
CrackVerbal was instrumental in helping me secure a good GMAT Score. Their personalized attention towards every student particularly played an important role in my prep for the exam. Not only the concepts and theories but also the nuances of the Verbal questions that were discussed in class helped a great deal in cracking this section. The faculty would also set aside time to brainstorm certain tricky questions that further opened up other areas of discussion. The peer group too was actively involved in the discussion forums which led to solving new questions. Post-class support especially is worth mentioning as they ensure that all the tests, quizzes etc are being done by the student regularly before his/her exam date. It was a good experience in all and I am thankful for the help that they extended both during and after the course.
Nishtha Chouhan 710 GMAT,MBA from University of California, Irvine – The Paul Merage School of Business
The CrackVerbal Bootcamp came to my rescue when I was totally disheartened by my performance. The class helped me to understand the basics of verbal and showed a different approach to tackle the Verbal section. Believe me my confidence in verbal gradually increased during the one month preparation with the help of the tutors and my hard work which was positively reflected in my score. Also, experts at CV gave very useful tips that helped me to understand the concepts and improve my performance in GMAT. The attention that CV experts gave to its student’s performance and motivation they provided was incredible.
