OUR ESSAY EDITING STRATEGY
Entry to the top business schools in the world is a rabidly competitive process. Entry into
schools such as Stanford, Wharton, and Harvard requires that winning application
package.

A glowing GPA, a GMAT score in the 90+ percentile, and strong letters of recommendation
are not enough - they are only part of the package.  Applicants should present strong
application essays. A disjointed narrative might obscure an otherwise great GPA, GMAT
score, or recommendations. Conversely, a well written set of essays can often help attract
interest in a profile that may otherwise appear lack lustre.

FAQ

1. CrackVerbal and MBA essay review?

Yes. You read that right! We will be involved in your B School journey beyond the GMAT
with our MBA Application Review Service. We involve actual MBA students/alumni from top
B-schools in the essay review process. We try to map an applicant to a current student,
ex-Adcom member or an alum from the school you are applying to. You will have a
Wharton student review your application to MBA programs at The Wharton School. You will
gain insights into what the school looks for, on how best you can present candidature to
their Admissions Committee. If we are unable to find a school alumnus for an application,
we will get the closest or best fit to work on your application. An applicant to Cambridge
can benefit from an alumnus/student of Oxford in drafting an application.

2. Why is the MBA essay so important?

The MBA essay distinguishes your application from those of thousands of other applicants.
A well-crafted set of application essays will represent who you are, allowing the
admissions committee to see the real you and not just another number. After all, a GPA is
just a number, a GMAT score is just a number. And recommendation letters often paint an
applicant in a glowing light that ironically do not improve your chances of admission. A
good MBA essay tells your story with the right emphasis on aspects of your personality .
This allows the admissions board to understand why they should pick you from the crowd.

4. How do we work?

An assigned consultant will work closely with the candidate over the entire session. This
consists of 3 main phases:

1. Pre-Application: The applicant will give us detail personal and professional
achievements and events in his life that can provide an insight into him. This will be
followed by a session to outline the structure of each essay so that the first draft can be
made.

2. Essay Review: We strongly believe that constructive feedback is crucial to developing
well constructed stories. There will be at-least three well-defined rounds of essay critique.
Both the reviewer and the
applicant will have a definite time frame for turn around; typically in the range of 2 to 3
business
days. We aim to wrap up the whole application process in 4 -6 weeks time.

3.Recommendations: We help you make a judicious choice of people who will provide your
recommendation letters. "Scholarship essays" will be included at no cost.

3. Post-application : If the candidate gets an interview call, We help in providing insights
and tips on what the school might specifically be looking for and how the candidate can
prepare for interviews

Please note that we do not write essays on behalf of the applicants. Nor do we predict
your chances of getting into a B school. It is unethical and dishonest to do so. Our goal
is to ensure that your application receives relevant and constructive feedback and is
presented in the best possible manner.
