The honest part

If you're applying in R2 or R3, you probably have one of these questions

Is my profile even strong enough for ISB?

Most applicants underestimate a strong profile and overestimate a weak one. What matters is not your numbers alone, it is how clearly your story connects them.

Do R2 and R3 essays need a different approach?

They do, but not in the way most people assume. ISB reads competition as identical across rounds. What actually shifts is how much runway you have to build a tight narrative.

What do ISB interview panels actually probe for?

An interview call is not a guaranteed admit. Panels are testing whether your spoken story matches your written one. That gap is where most candidates lose ground.

How we work

A structured process, not a checklist

Profile & story mapping

We start by identifying the two or three experiences that genuinely carry your application, before a single word of the essay gets written.

Essay, resume & SOP build

Multiple structured rounds of editing focused on clarity, not just polish. Your voice stays yours, we just remove the confusion around it.

Interview preparation

Mock interviews and detailed feedback on structure, content and tone, so the version of you the panel meets is consistent with the one they read.

Questions ISB R2 and R3 applicants ask us

ISB states publicly that competition is identical across all three rounds, and the admission bar does not change. What does change is scholarship availability, which tends to be more open earlier in the cycle. If you are applying in R2 or R3, your focus should be on a tight, well-supported narrative rather than worrying about round-based disadvantage.
Most applicants need 4 to 6 weeks of focused work across profile mapping, essays, resume, and interview prep. For Round 2 (6 December 2026) that means starting by late October. For Round 3 (17 January 2027), early December is a reasonable start point. Starting earlier simply gives you more room to revise.
Yes. Many applicants begin admissions consulting while still preparing for their GMAT or GRE. Profile mapping and essay strategy do not depend on a final score, and since Crackverbal runs both test prep and admissions consulting, your mentor can coordinate the two timelines instead of treating them separately.
No, and any consultant who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. What we can tell you is our aggregate outcome: an 87% admissions success rate across 30,000+ students mentored since 2006. Your profile evaluation call is where we give you an honest, specific read on your own chances.
It depends on how much support you need, from essay review alone to full end-to-end consulting. Rather than quote a number without context, we recommend the right plan after your free profile evaluation call, once we understand where you actually need help.
Crackverbal runs GMAT, GRE, and MBA admissions consulting under one roof, so your test prep and your application strategy are never disconnected. We are also the only Indian institute featured by Stanford University, and our mentors have guided over 1,000 ISB admits directly.
