Frequently Asked Questions
What is the duration of this course?
The duration of the GMAT ScoreUp Program may vastly vary depending on your prep stage, background and target score. Ideally, the course should not take more than 3 to 4 weeks.
Who are the teachers?
At Crackverbal, we have a team of trained, professional GMAT faculty members who have tutored several hundred batches of students over the past two decades. They understand GMAT prep and the actual exam like the back of their hand. For more details, you can visit our Mentors page.
Can I take a free ScoreUp session before enrolling?
We don’t have a trial ScoreUp session but you are entitled to a complete refund if you aren’t satisfied at the end of your first session.
How is the Crackverbal GMAT ScoreUp Program different from the Live@Home & On-Demand Programs?
The Crackverbal ScoreUp Program is meant for aspirants who feel like they need specialized attention from one of our mentors. A mentor will be assigned to you & will help you with extremely personalized feedback over one-on-one sessions.
Unlike this, the Live@Home Program will add on an additional set of weekend classes where a mentor will come in to teach you in a live session with a handful of your peers. This program is meant for anyone who wants to experience a classroom-like discipline from the comfort of their homes.
The On-Demand Program, on the other hand, is a self-paced video-based course. In this mode of prep, you can login to the platform at your own convenience, watch videos, take tests etc trying to keep as much as possible in line with the learning path we recommend.
What is the schedule for ScoreUp?
We have designed GMAT ScoreUp Program to be adaptable to individual needs and schedule. As a result, there is no pre-fixed schedule for this course. You can create your own schedule and fix appointments with your mentor accordingly.
What are the advantages of ScoreUp? Who should opt for it?
ScoreUp is a highly personalised service and we recommend it specifically for students who are retaking the GMAT to improve their scores.
ScoreUp is designed to provide highly specific guidance to those students who have prepared to the best of their abilities but have been unable to achieve their dream scores. Tutors use Enhanced Score Reports of the student’s latest GMAT attempt to work out their strengths and weaknesses and then recommend a course of action.
At the end of each session, you will be provided with a recording of that session for future reference.
When should I opt for ScoreUp?
If you have done your best to prepare for the GMAT but still haven’t scored like you wanted to, ScoreUp will be your best bet.
Ideally, you should have approximately two months to go before your next GMAT attempt when you come in for ScoreUp. However, a lot depends on the score difference you want to achieve, your learning speed and the specific problems you’re facing.
How is a mentor assigned to me?
We assign you a mentor to match your requirements based on our understanding of your schedule and preparation needs post the first call.
