LONDON SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ESSAY ANALYSIS OVERVIEW

London School of Business has one essay to submit. This is a career goal essay with a word limit of 500 words.

Essay Question 1:

What are your post-MBA goals, and how will your prior experience and the London Business School program contribute towards these?
Word limit: 500 words

To attempt this essay, we will be dividing it into three parts.

1. Who you are: In this section, talk about your prior experience, what have you done so far, and talk about your experiences and learning. Remember to mention your post-MBA goals and be specific about your industry and job role.
For example, You can say that ‘When I look back at my career now, I did not know where I wanted to go. But after my experience, I know that I wish to reach…” Fill in with your specific goals.

2. What you want: For the next part, talk about what you need to get to that goal. You might want to talk about your gameplan or how you will expand your knowledge base.

3. How LBS will help you get there: For the next part, you must mention how LSB will help you gain your requirements. Remember to tie-in to London Business School.

Tip:
Regarding the word count, you can devote 150 words for each section, and for the remaining 50 words, you can utilize it for a strong introduction and conclusion.

Optional Essay

Is there any other information you believe the Admissions Committee should know about you and your application to London Business School?
Word limit: 500 words

For the optional essay, make sure you write about any gap year in your education or career. You can use this optional essay to inform the admissions team about anything that you feel is important for them to know.

One mistake that students make is they use the optional essay to retrofit another story. Do not mention anything other than specific information only.
